Murdo Morrison Does anyone here use software designed for writers such as Writer's Cafe. I didn't use anything like that on my first two projects. Any thoughts, comments or advice you would be willing to share?

Paul Jones (paulantonyjones) | 32 comments I used Write-Brain's Power Structure for the plot development of Towards Yesterday and Power Writer to write the story. They're both fairly expensive pieces of software but have a great breadth of options and don't force you down a procedural route.

There are demos available here http://write-brain.com/downloads.html

Cambria (cambria409) I have often wondered about writing software as well. I don't use any I just write with microsoft word, but I am interested in the advantages of writing software.

Cate (writermonkey) | 6 comments Scrivener is coming out for PC. Using it now for the second book of my series and am so far enjoying the experience. I especially like the Corkboard feature.

Murdo Morrison I have quite a bit of experience now with Scrivener. I am using it for my next book project and like it. It makes many parts of the process easier, allowing me to organize research materials, character profiles etc in an easy to access structure.
