No, Cynthia....I get to work around 5:00am.

They better not and you better not say that again. I'd rather not know.

And their sting is nasty!

*zips lips*

Ugh. Hope it lets up soon Catherine.

Firefighters save dog.
City workers save turtle.

I like that too, Jammies.
I saw a segment on CNN yesterday where a bike messenger risked his neck by running into traffic to save a rat that was trapped by the rushing cars. People may not like rats generally, but that showed a lot of guts and compassion.

I like that, too.

My cat usually wants food before a cuddle. :)

I love that too Cheri. I have to wait until I visit the in-laws down south to get a sky like that. Too much light in the city.

Has done a couple of laps from the kitchen to the living room...

"

I'm human Paxil? I ought to be selling my services, then. I hate it when I fail to monetize!

Yes, much more mild, it is nice to have really warm days in between the snowstorms. :D

Perhaps it was stamped with an expiration date?
I like it when I read stories like this....
Helping hands lead underemployed woman to new, better-paying job
Readers' assistance also gives Luz Pagan money to pay rent, cover expenses for her and 12-year-old son
Luz Pagan, a single mother who was featured in a Tribune story last month about the working poor, started a new job Thursday and received enough financial help from the paper's readers to cover her rent for a year.
Touched by her story, Tribune readers offered everything from money and household goods and clothing to leads on possible jobs, including one she applied for and landed.
A Hinsdale resident who asked to remain anonymous sent the Tribune a check for $6,900 so Pagan could pay her rent for a year. She lives with her 12-year-old son in a $575-a-month studio apartment on the North Side and said Thursday that she's looking for something even less expensive.
