separating authors and books

I am getting new books (and a DVD) added on to my page, which are by Sara Foster the cookbook author and Sara Foster the actress. I have looked into separating them myself, but I'm nervous about changing names as I don't want to inadvertently delete any data. If possible I'd prefer my name to be the one with extra spaces for separation (to try to avoid this happening again), but can someone confirm that I won't delete all my current data by doing this? Sara, you are now Sara-3space-Foster. (2space was already the cookbook writer.)

This will prevent imports from showing up on your profile, but it means that new books of yours (or new editions of existing books) will have to each be edited to add the extra spaces before they'll show up there.

This group is probably the best place to ask for help with that. :)
