I find if you "edit" your group, it helps. You know, get rid of dead rps. Change the group picture. Edit your group description. Add new things, etc.

Yeah, that's the best. Try to keep active, otherwise people might start leaving.

You can join large groups like 'The Largest group on Goodreads!!!!!!!!!!!!' and advertise there.

Only invite people you know will join and you know will be active. Describe the group in your invite so more people will actually join. Mention said people by name, that always helps. And, yes, cleaning up the group is nice too.

Okay, my friend, some of you may know her, Jenna, has this chart, and everytime someone gets 5 penalties, they are kicked out of the group. You get a penalty every time you break a rule.

Some of the groups my friends have, have a sort of Warning system. The first Warning is just a warning, and each time it gets worse the last warning(4 or 5)gets you kicked out.

I'm not organized enough for that sort of thing. hehe. I only delete people when it sticks in my memory enough that I know they've clearly been breaking the rules enough that I remember them. But even then if it's not something more serious, I won't remove them. The person will just be closely watched and reminded of the rules when they break them.

I don't ever have to worry about people breaking the rules because my rules are too easy. And if they do, I smack them so hard they never do it again. Ruling by fear. Muahahaha. (:

Can someone please help me? There is this group I'm in and only me and two out f three mods are on. The head mod asked me and second mod to find a way to get our members more active in our group. Can someone please help?!?!

Restart some topics and/or add some new topics. Maybe change the group picture for fun. Add a poll asking what could improve the group. Send out a group message asking people to check out the new changes and invite more people.
