Mark your calendars: Readathon Aug 2011 edition

If you have been waiting for the next readathon, we have the dates decided! The August readathon will be held from Aug 6 Saturday 10 am US Pacific time to Aug 13 Saturday 10 am US Pacific time. As always, you can start earlier or sooner depending on what works for you.

The one day readathon can be done on Saturday Aug 6 or Sunday Aug 7. The timings for the 24 hour reading spree are left to your convenience. You can start whenever it fits your schedule and stop when you wish to. 

I'll send out an email as we approach the week of our readathon. The sign-up thread has already been opened. There will be a discussion thread, where all participants can post their progress and cheer others. And YES, there will be mini-challenges! I'll be posting them within the next week.

I'll be in on the week read-a-thon, though the on the 6th I won't have much time so the one-day is out for me. Looking forward to getting some focused reading time in!!

My anniversary is August 5th and we are going out of town so the 6th is out for me.

I'm also working a lot of overtime right now, so I don't know how much I'll get to read, but I'll try my best.
