You have to select both the one you created as well as the one you want to combine with by clicking the little check box.
I'll ask here to avoid multiplying threads. There are two records in the database that I'm not sure what should be done with them. Both editions are parts of one book, but edited separately:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/37...

Should they be combined or not?

Nope, separate volumes of works are all listed separately.
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23...I have a question for the above book. It's a classic compendium that apparently also includes Wizard of Oz according to when I looked up the ISBN on Amazon.

However, it isn't cataloged as having all three books; it is only listed under Lucy Maud Montgomery as an edition of Anne of Green Gables. Is this a case where the books shouldn't have been combined? I'm new, so I'm not sure how to catalog this so that all of the authors who have books in the compendium are linked to it. Is there a way to do that?
Correct. It needs to be separated, and corrected. Worldcat verifies Amazon's info, here: http://www.worldcat.org/title/anne-of...#You just need to add each author in a separate author field, and it will show on each author's page.
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23...I'm not sure if I formatted the titles correctly. I just want to make sure I'm doing it properly for if I perform similar separations in the future. Hopefully I didn't mess anything up.
