Chuck | 17 comments I've ordered a preloaded dual boot (generic Android or the Nook OS) from nook2android on Amazon. You pay about $25 over the cost of a SD micro card. I'm pretty certain I could eventually make a bootable SD card but my first try 3 months ago led to a very buggy install.

Worth the $$ to me

I heard about this. Sounds interesting. If I attempted the dual boot myself, I'd still have to buy a new SD micro. Might be worth it considering.

Jennifer (jenviz26) I just ordered one as well - although I think I went for the triple boot so I could get the existing and new OS on there. It was worth the price if it works - I just don't have the time to get it configured currently.

Bob Fortescue (rfortescue) | 1 comments Mine just arrived yesterday. Installation was very smooth and easy. I spent a little time playing around with it and it's working very well so far. Loaded the netflix app and was able to stream a movie. Now I'm worried that I'll be too distracted to read. ;-)

Chuck | 17 comments My N2A card works pretty well. I can read my Nook books and also get Kindle or others if desired.
What I haven't figured out is how to access the unused portion of the 16 GB card. When I attach the Color Nook to my PC (USB) there are no directories displayed. Perhaps it needs to be partitioned but I'm worried that that might screw up the Android Os Install.

I'm also wondering how I might back up the SD card in case it is lost or becomes defective.

The key is properly turning on the USB function in the Android OS. A small icon appears in the taskbar area . .one must open that function and tap on the activate USB connection icon. After that the directory structure appears on the PC just fine.

Jessica (jhagenbuch621) | 4 comments I just order a 4g N2A SD Card. I am thinking that the 4 g will be enough.....any ideas?

Chuck | 17 comments Depends on what you do with the nook. Music collections often take more than that.

Rick | 3 comments I have a lot of movies in mp4 file format and they are .75 GB each on average so that is only enough space for five of the movie files.

Jessica (jhagenbuch621) | 4 comments I pretty much just want it for the applications. I already have music on my Nook system itself so no music and I do not plan on saving movies.
