I got lots of reading done yesterday evening as we had no internet. So I read a book read that had been chosen by another forum - it was so good that I finised it off this morning! It was Emotional Geology and I can highly recommend it - I suppose you would call it a literary novel. I found it fascinating and gripping. The main character suffers from bio polar and is also recovering from traumatic events in her past - you only find out about this gradually. It was fascinating as the story is gradually pieced together, like unpeeling layers of an onion. It's not a depressing novel though - I couldn't put it down and think many of you would also enjoy it.
Now I really must finish Tales From the Glades of Ballymore which I am nearly half way through - then I intend to start Stuart's book A Cleansing of Souls.

Thanks for reading it Karen!

I wanna know if she cried!

Still reading the Mari Strachan for my book group.

Now reading some Steampunk for a change and have started Changeless by Gail Carriger.
I've just read the first two books in M C Beaton's Six Sisters series. I loved the humour in them with the old vicar and his friend trying to patch up the mistakes made by his daughters.

Then last night I read The Surrogate Vigilante by my new discovery, Beverley Carter. It's a shortie but it's really good.
Now I'm 25% through Devoted Sisters by our Alison Buck. Very different from Abiding Evil but so far a great read.
