Rogue Male turned out to be even more enjoyable than I expected. Rich in language and ideas as well as being full of tension. I've moved on to Hermit which feels very promising indeed.

Read and reviewed George Bernard Shaw on Wagner from early 1900s and now reading Lidgey's biography of the composer from the 1890s. The contrast is fascinating.
