Well - I started Mighty and Strong and it's very good, but I was finding it too upsetting when I was dealing with something upsetting at home, so I switched to something lighter, but fully intend to go back to this. I'm a bit delicate with thrillers - not just gore (which I don't like so skip read) but also the tension. It took me two attempts to read Six Seconds! Why not go for that one then while the story of the Righteous is fresh in your mind?
I have no intention of reading facebook killers as I know that I couldn't cope with it - but I've read lots of people on amazoo raving about it.
Diagnosis Death and Medical Era are both faith books. I've read them and enjoyed them, but not everyone will like that. They are not as gripping as Michael Wallace et al.

Unless Darren's email arrives soon.
We'll have some new choices soon too!! The November reads I mean!!
:)
:)

Ollie would have the same problem as me. He can't even choose between two menu options for his lunch, so try and guess what it's like for a dozen books !
Knowing him and how he behaves, he'd ask me for the whole list because he'd want to see if there's something better ! He does that in the toy shop... we go in for something and we'll always come out with something else...

Intriguesis the book and I will be finished today (just trying to stay on topic for once...)

Hope you are enjoying it Janet, I love a bit of gore but a friend of mine rea..."

No Shaun it was not too gory for me (just about!) I finished it last night - stayed up far too late to finish it in fact!!
I'm going to try and clear out some freebies now - but going to be ruthless and bin things I can't get into. Too many recommendations on her to waste precious time

Glad to hear it (the part about it not being too gory I mean, not the staying up late!).

Just finished Daughters of Fortune and just started London: The Novel. Off to read for half an hour - mind reading a real book is strange.
Edited as can't spell/type!

Tried reading it but couldn't get into it at the time :/

The last book I read that I really liked was Hunger Games. It took a while to get into, but once it was under way I thought it was really good. The second one I wasn't so keen on, and I haven't read the third one yet, but I'll get around to it.

Ok Patti, might just stick with it for a bit longer :)

I've heard some good stuff about the Hunger Games... I have it, but it's somewhere in my very long TBR. Obviously it's more important that I get through your books first, but trying to space them out until the next one comes out but it's hard... erm.. I wonder if I'm addicted....

There's worse things to be addicted too. Plus I'm non fattening ;)

I guess so... but it this an addiction you could ever keep up with ;)

Sadly probably not as I don't write that fast. Lol

No idea what to start next. Still reading O Alquimista, so i might wait until i finish that one as well

I finished Vic's Big Walkthis morning and found it interesting. Now I'm reading Steve Roach's book Cycles, Tents and Two Young Gentswhich is making me laugh - a real bloke's trip.

I've now started Betrayal. I'm only a few pages in but it has gripped me from the start.
