The Book of Paul by Richard Long
I haven't read so can't recommend but it's .99 on amazon

Frenzy by Rex Miller
Blurb: "Fans of Rex Miller's legendary Slob will not be disappointed in this gutsy, bucket-of-blood suspense thriller."
Slob by Rex Miller
Blurb: "This terrifying and original novel marks the debut of a writer who is able to bring the dynamite in both hands." -- continues review inside the cover: "When a paperback original as strong and as moving as this one comes along, it is cause for rejoicing. SLOB is almost too crudely terrifying to be read...but it is too compelling to put down."
Down on the Farm by John Stchur
Blurb: "I'd mark it down on my mental "must-buy" list . . . [Stchur] turns Michigan into Lovecraft country!"
Yellow Fog and The Silver Skull by Les Daniels
Blurb on both books: "Les Daniels tells a hell of a story. His books are rewarding, creepy, and fun!" Blurb on the back of Yellow Fog: "Daniels' work is dark but humane. His horror novels deserve a much wider audience."
The Orchard by Charles L. Grant
Blurb: "One of the premier horror writers of his or any generation."
The Ceremonies by T.E.D. Klein
Blurb: "Wonderful . . . the most exciting novel in the field to come along since Straub's Ghost Story."
The Abyss by Jere Cunningham
Burb: "I loved this book. THE ABYSS is very close to being great."
Imagine what might happen if Holden Caufield stepped into H. G. Wells The Invisible Man, and you'll have an idea how good Fade is. . . . I was absolutely riveted.--Stephen King
Fade, Robert Cormier

There is a medallion on the cover that has a King blurb in it.
"The best memoir I have ever read. This book is a punch to the heart. Read it."
-Stephen King

The Dead Lands

I can't figure out where blurbs are mentioned and I did a search. So here's the latest I just got from the library. Not yet read.

- Stephen King (on the cover of the book)
The Daylight Marriage

Life or Death is a nerve-shredding thriller with the heart and soul so often missing from lesser crime and suspense novels. I couldn't stop reading, yet I didn't want Audie's story to end. Robotham is an absolute master.'

Life or Death
Thanks, Sarah! I added this one to our list. This author has written a great series, with more to come, I hope. It's the Joseph O'Loughlin series. Highly recommended.

SK says in the inside cover of Rebecca "Daphne du Maurier created a scale by which modern women can measure their feelings."
I of course had to read Rebecca for these reasons and it has become one of my all time favorites and one of few books that I read over every few years!
I also read Daphne du Maurier books many, many moons ago. I will add Rebecca with SK's comments about the author. Thanks!
I just noted that Rebecca was mentioned in Danse Macabre, so I already had it on my list. I added the blurb just now.

“An electrifying read… I haven’t read anything so terrifying since Red Dragon.” —Stephen King
Went through a bunch of SK tweets and added a few more books to the Sai-King-Recommends. Fun reading his tweets.

Good point, Sarah. I've got it on order from Amazon! I also agree it would be an excellent group read. I don't think we've ever read a book of short stories before. I just may be making another executive decision.

Missy wrote: "Just finished The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum. Wow. Pretty disturbing. King sure knows how to pick em."
Supposedly based on a true story of Indiana murderer, Gertrude Baniszewski.

Yes, read it and was very disturbed, especially since it was based on a true story, like Almeta said.

Travis of NNY wrote: "King just tweeted a book to be released in 2017 a few days ago. Forgot about this thread I'll have to remember to look it up"
Got it, Travis. It's Final Girls.
The first great thriller of 2017 is almost here: FINAL GIRLS, by Riley Sager. If you liked GONE GIRL, you'll like this.

Travis of NNY wrote: "Yup same book mentioned in other thread by Michelle. King was boycotting doing blurbs for a while I guess as punishment for electing Trump. At least after Trump was elected King specifically said n..."
Yep, I read that Travis. He was, and still is, pretty upset about the election. He didn't stay away long, tho.

He's amusing, Linda. He still rants about Trump. He also shares pics of his dog Molly with funny captions. He's the only reason I'm on twitter.

"Don Winslow's THE FORCE (coming in June) is mesmerizing, a triumph. Think THE GODFATHER, only with cops. It's that good."

"Brilliant. Deeply felt, but totally under control. I loved it. - Stephen King"

He posted the same thing on Facebook!
Actually I shouldn't be surprised, now that I think of it. King is very outspoken and active in social media. So why not FB?
We are going to add Greg Iles to our SK recommended authors list based on this:
This link http://www.jacksonfreepress.com/news/... is from Jackson Free Press which includes the following statement:
"Stephen King has long been a fan of Greg Iles' work. Iles recalls fondly his first interaction with Stephen King: He received a letter with the return address of S. King, and inside was a handwritten letter from Stephen King complimenting Iles on his book "24 Hours."

THE END OF THE WORLD RUNNING CLUB, by Adrian J. Walker. This one's a real find. I got a copy in Toronto. Might not be published in the US.
