Jonathin kept a hand clamped over his shoulder, blood seeping through the spaces in his fingers and running down his arm. Then he heard another shot.
Luna heard a shot and felt something warm fickle down her ear. She kept running with Jonathin in front of her.
Jonathin looked behind him. "Luna, what happened?" He asked, not being able to see well in the darkness of the trees.
Jonathin slowed down, taking her hand. "I'm too scared of losing you, I'm not letting you out of my sight." He said, running next to her. Another shot echoed, and pain erupted in his leg.
She winced a little at the other shot. She took his hand and ran with him. She could say the same for him. She wasn't loosing him. She turned briefly and put a glamour up so the hunter would be confused.
Another shot and Jonathin saw the bullet hit the tree in front of them, the force making a hole in the bark.
Luna winced. "Damit! This is not a regular hunter." She said. She helped him over to the cave. "Quick."
Jonathin followed after her, then collapsed against the cave wall, shrouded in darkness. The hunter ran past them, not noticing the cave.
She nodded. She inspected his leg first. She winced. She gently straightened his leg, putting it on her lap. She put her hand over his wound.
Jonathin tried to keep quiet, but he had to groan slightly when she touched it. The pain from the wound was horrible, and he could still feel the bullet in his leg.
She winced that she was hurting him, even the slightest bit. She took a deep breath, cupping her hand over the wound. "I'm so sorry this may sting." She said, closing her eyes. She managed to let the bullet come to her, trying to do it as gently as possible.
Jonathin dug his nails of his fingers into his palms as she did so, crying out slightly from the pain she was causing him.
She finally got the bullet and threw it away. She tore a piece of her clothing and wrapped it round his leg tightly to stop the bleeding. "I'm so sorry, i didn't want to hurt you." She said.
Jonathin grimaced, but shook his head, relaxing a bit. "No, it's fine. Better this than something worse later." He said. He smiled a bit and kissed the top of her head. "My shoulder's gonna be the hard one."
She bit her lip looking at his shoulder. "Here goes." She said, kissing his cheek. She gently cupped her hand over the wound.
Jonathin cried out, then shut himself up, hissing in pain. "Where'd you learn to do this?" He asked through his teeth.
She winced at his cry out. She tried to be as gentle as possible. She took a deep breath and again let the bullet come to her. "Father taught me once." she replied, trying to take his mind of things. (( kk ))
Jonathin let a painful breath out, shuddering. "Thank goodness for him." He breathed, smiling a bit at her.
She finally got the bullet out. "Yeah good for him." She said smiling a little. She tore another piece of clothing off and tied it round his shoulder tight to stop any bleeding.
Jonathin ran his hand through her hair, brushing her ear to feel how bad it was. He kissed her cheek. "You okay?" He asked her.
She sighed feeling a bit better as he ran his fingers soothingly through her hair, wincing slightly as he brushed her ear. She smiled at him. "Im ok. Are you?"
Jonathin nodded. "Okay, because I don't think that with the running and the wounds, I'll be able stand, let alone walk there."
Jonathin nodded. "You're not badly wounded. You should get to camp and have someone clean your ear for you."
Jonathin shook his head. "It could get infected if you stay out here. Get it taken care of. Please."
She looked at him. "Ill be fine. Your more injured than I am, you need to be seen to first." She said.
Jonathin kissed her cheek. "I can wait until tomorrow with these bandages. At least I'm not bleeding. Please go."
Jonathin brushed her cheek with her fingers. "Then come back. Go to the pack and make sure you're okay before you come back."
