Luna walked into the forest, lost in thought. She couldn't figure people out. She was getting a headache from thinking to hard. She paced on the forest floor. She loved Jonathin, she didn't want anyone else.
Jonathin watched her pacing, then shifted and walked up behind her silently when she was walking away from him and hugged her from behind. "Hey." He whispered in her ear.
"I talked to them." Jonathin told her. "Actually, I more like told them that we didn't care what they thought, then left." He said, his voice light as he tried to make it at least slightly funny. He knew how stressed she was feeling, and he loved how her body relaxed against his. He squeezed her hand. "So are you feeling okay?"
She smiled, knowing he was trying to make her feel better. She looked up at him, titling her head back, squeezing his hand back. "Thank you for that and I'm feeling much better, for now...." She said smiling up at him.
Jonathin pressed his head to hers, closing his eyes. "Winter's ending." He whispered. "The spring will be coming." He was trying to tell her that mating season was near. He wanted to be sure she had chosen right.
"Spring's a big time of the year. Everything comes to life." Jonathin said, brushing her cheek. "All the birds will have chicks to teach. The frogs will have their tadpoles..."
Jonathin looped his thumb of his free hand in her back pants pocket. He kissed her back, his joy, love and passion flowing through that connection and into her.
Jonathin pulled back only slightly, so their lips were still touching. "I-I don't want to go to far." He said, his lust in his eyes clouded over by his contradicting kindness.
Ruby sighs. "Oh roughly 16 years." She said, shaking her head.
