The Forest
"Woah," Alyse said. "I join one pack, then get kicked out or run off, then join another. Its an endless cycle"
"Sounds like the life." Ruby says sighing. Drake holds Ruby. "Its ok."
Ruby gives a small smile. "Yeah right." She snorts.
Alyse smiled. "I think maybe i shouldn't join another pack for awhile, i'm sure news has gotten around about the little fight."
"Probably." She said nodding. "Plus its a good idea not to join for a bit. Laying low is best. Drake nods. "Yeah take it from us."
Luna walked into the forest, lost in thought. She couldn't figure people out. She was getting a headache from thinking to hard. She paced on the forest floor. She loved Jonathin, she didn't want anyone else.
Jonathin watched her pacing, then shifted and walked up behind her silently when she was walking away from him and hugged her from behind. "Hey." He whispered in her ear.
She relaxed against him, breathing him in, feeling calmer already. "Hey." She said softly, closing her eyes. Holding one of his hands.
"I talked to them." Jonathin told her. "Actually, I more like told them that we didn't care what they thought, then left." He said, his voice light as he tried to make it at least slightly funny. He knew how stressed she was feeling, and he loved how her body relaxed against his. He squeezed her hand. "So are you feeling okay?"
She smiled, knowing he was trying to make her feel better. She looked up at him, titling her head back, squeezing his hand back. "Thank you for that and I'm feeling much better, for now...." She said smiling up at him.
"Good. For now is better than not at all." Jonathin said. He kissed her cheek and rested his chin in the crook of her shoulder.
Jonathin rocked back and forth, holding her so that she rocked with him. "I wish there was something I could do to help."
"With the pack. It's like they don't accept your decision. I don't blame them, though. You're the Alpha and you sorta broke tradition choosing me."
She shook her head. "Well Im new fashioned not old. I like my decision. I don't regret my decision."
Jonathin smiled, then turned her around and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her to him. He looked down at her, leaning against a tree.
Jonathin pressed his head to hers, closing his eyes. "Winter's ending." He whispered. "The spring will be coming." He was trying to tell her that mating season was near. He wanted to be sure she had chosen right.
"Spring's a big time of the year. Everything comes to life." Jonathin said, brushing her cheek. "All the birds will have chicks to teach. The frogs will have their tadpoles..."
She nodded. "I know, its a time for new life to enter the world." She smiled up at him, kissing his cheek.
Jonathin smiled and kissed her. "You're ready for that?" He ran a hand down her side, resting it on her waist.
She smiled more, kissing him back. "Yeah I am as long as your there." She said, resting her head on his chest, holding him close.
"I'll always be there." Jonathin promised, placing his other hand on the middle of her back. He kissed the top of her head and smiled.
She smiled brightly. "Good." She said softly, feeling warm and safe with him. She kissed him softly.
Jonathin kissed her back, lifting her up a bit so she was on her tiptoes, and she fit tight with him, leaving no space between them.
Jonathin looped his thumb of his free hand in her back pants pocket. He kissed her back, his joy, love and passion flowing through that connection and into her.
She felt everything in their connection that he was giving as he kissed her, she returned that emotion equally, loving his touch.
Jonathin pulled back only slightly, so their lips were still touching. "I-I don't want to go to far." He said, his lust in his eyes clouded over by his contradicting kindness.
She smiles and looks into his eyes. "Your eyes say different dear." She said chuckling, kissing him again lightly. "but we won't if you don't want."

Ruby sighs. "Oh roughly 16 years." She said, shaking her head.
