Google+ looks cool, but I haven't downloaded it yet. I like the circles feature that allows you to share stuff with certain groups of people. It also has something like StumbleUpon, which is is always interesting.
i think there are diff level of service with like a free low bells and whistle deal and then better and premium ones. just looking into it
I'm on Google + now, but I haven't had a chance to explore properly. I'm having trouble finding people, for starters. I put in names of people I know are on there, and it doesn't bring them up.Also, do I have this straight? I can add and follow people without their consent. If I make a public post it will not forcibly show up on their pages? There are a lot of cool authors and editors on there, but I don't want to invade their space.
I'm having the easiest time finding authors I like. Less luck with my musician-friends and GR friends.

Done already.
I thought they weren't accepting new members even WITH invites. Is that wrong? I really want to check it out.Me too Sallers. When forced to choose my evil empire, I'm with Google.
I've given them way too much money to feel comfortable with this new thing. A part of me despises Google.
I had a business that used Google ads. A lot of cash. Pay per click -- very difficult to track the clicks.
Ohhhhhhhhh you used google to advertise your business, and you had to pay them for every click!I get it now.
Misha wrote: "Sarah, since no one ever answered your question, I think it works like twitter or Facebook pages (as opposed to profiles) in that someone can only see your stuff if they add you to a circle, not if..."There's a special 'incoming' stream (below your circles) in which everything that people that aren't in your circle share with you end up. So, if you're following Shatner and he isn't following you, and you share something with all your circles, or public, or + him, it should show up in his incoming stream.

Just resent Janice.
Thanks Jim. Nothing has come through yet. I went onto the site a week or so back and tried to join. I got the message that it's in beta right now and that they would email me when it's available to the general public so I left my email. I wonder if that's the problem.

Why should we resent Janice?
