I live on the East Coast too and work in a school office. Kids start a week from today, 8/27. Teachers start this Wednesday with meetings/professional development.
My favorites besides Fool's Gold series are the following series: The Marcelli Family, The Lone Star Sisters and the Buchanan Saga. But I've really loved all Susan's books.

~ McKenna ~ | 2 comments Hi everyone :D

I'm Kessa and I LOVE to read. I'm from Scotland and a Mummy to 2 children who love to read as much as I do. I really enjoy reading Contemporary Romance on my Kindle 3G, but I do read other Genre aslong as there is some Romance in it. Reading is my favourite way to relax when the girls are fast asleep in bed, I'm not really one for watching TV, unless there is something worth watching, which isn't often LOL. I joined this group to make online 'book' friends and get recommendations for some great upcoming books.
I have only read one SM book so far Chasing Perfect (Fool's Gold#1), and I was hooked straight away.

June (ladyjune) | 11 comments Hello ladies, I'm June. I'm new to Goodreads, (and pretty useless when it comes to tech, so bear with me.
I'm from Indonesia, yeah so far away. I love Susan Mallery since like forever, my mom is big fan of her. We used to have big collection of Susan's book, but some books were missing and not in good condition, so I turn to e-books. Although I still buy new realese in paperback to collect.
Nice to meet you ladies.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Hi my name is Jackie. I live in Jacksonville, Fl and I love reading books. My first Susan book would have to be a toss up between Finding Perfect and The Best Of Friends. I am happy I found this group. Now I have other people that love her books just as much as I do.

JoAnne (joannemwct) | 21 comments Hi all. I'm JoAnne and have been an avid reader most of my life. My mom and aunt introduced me to romances. I grew up in NY and have lived in CT most of my life. I'm married with one son who will graduate college in May. I work in an elementary school office and have summers and all vacations off.
Susan is one of my favorite authors and I actually named Annabelle, the librarian, in one of Susan's contests. Annabelle was then given my last name - Weiss. I also was lucky enough to be chosen last year as one of the Fool's Gold Cheerleaders. What a blast we all had.
I can't remember which books I read first but I've loved her series and her stand alone books. I can never wait to be reunited to old friends in the series or introduced to her new characters.
Nice "meeting" everyone!

Amy (beccabo) | 1 comments Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I am fairly new to the Fool’s Gold fan club. I am an elementary school teacher and love reading romance books during my vacations (Christmas, spring, summer) to unwind and recharge. My first Susan Mallery book was A Fool’s Gold Christmas which was given to me by a friend during the holidays. Of course, things were too crazy in real life for me to have to read it then so I actually read it for a Christmas in July book club event with some teacher friends and I loved it!! While I really enjoyed Evie and Dante’s story, I actually liked Patience so much that I had to read her story. Since then, I have devoured every one of the bodyguard books and am anxiously awaiting the new ones. I am really intrigued by Angel and can’t wait for his book to come out! But in the meantime, I have the older ones on hold at the library and am just waiting until they become available.

I am also a fan of James Patterson (love the Women’s Murder Club series and have every one of those!), Nora Roberts, and Kristen Ashley. As you can see, I love an author who writes series where you get to know and like a secondary character in one book and then get to read their story in another. Which is what I like so much about Fool’s Gold. I can’t wait to “meet” everyone!
