A new survey released July 12 by the First Amendment Center finds 67% of Americans agree with the constitutional principle of separation of church and state.
Yes, I believe that's true, but are they willing to stand behind that wit their vote? Some, yes, but not all. I think part of the problem is that to many people don't really understand what the separation of church and state means, what the practical implications are.
