My favourite genre is romance, and am finding it really hard to choose a specific sub-genre for this, as I read them all. I've been reading a lot of paranormal lately, so will go with that. Hope that's ok.

Sounds good to me, CaroB. It sounds like a good umbrella of traditional fantasy, urban fantasy, dark fantasy, science fiction, steampunk, time-travel, vampires, shapeshifters, ghosts, and characters with psychic abilities, like telekinesis or telepathy.

Oh, I don't know about that. Right now I'm reading two books and they are both paranormal. Maybe I should create a second list. Something to think over before I do anything hasty. =)

Heather, Since I am doing "Romantic Suspense/Mysteries With a Touch of Romance", I'll be interested in seeing your list.

Lisa Kay wrote: "Heather, Since I am doing "Romantic Suspense/Mysteries With a Touch of Romance", I'll be interested in seeing your list."Have you read the In Death series? I think the series alone could fill up a lot of this challenge. Something like 33 books in the series so far and it fits the genre. lol
I am "re-reading" them right now, via audio. They are soooooooo well narrated. They are very popular and I ususally have to wait for them to b/c available at the library. I could jump around, I guess. But, I'd like to do them in order.

I've only read through book 3, as the library is taking soooooo long to give me #4, but I'm with you. I'm only going to "read" these as audiobooks. The narrator does a phenomenal job! Don't think I could enjoy the series as much without her telling the story.

I just got #4 from the library last night too!!! So excited to dive into that one! Also received A Game of Thrones from the library last night too. No idea when I'll start that one though.
      How long can you check

out for, Heather? It may take you a while to get through. Keep us posted on how you like it.

Once I download it to my MP3 player, I have it until I delete it, so I'm in no rush to read it. I know I'll be at it for a loooooonnnnngggggg time. lol

Question, Heather: When you reconnect your MP3 player to download something else from your library, will the library software "take it back"?

No, it will remove it from my computer only. If I've put it on my MP3 player, I have to remove it off of it myself. =)

It was really good!! First read and intro to the series. Not sure when I'll grab the second one, but it will be soon!

Something is screwy with the "edit" ability on goodreads right now, Heather. But I will add this! I've been meaning to get to that series too. :)

If you want to read the books in chronological order, check out Nalini's website. I've just gotten up to date with this series and have loved it!

I'm going to try and read them one book a month. Prolong the enjoyment like I am with the I-Team series and trying to only read 2 0r 3 books in the In Death series. We'll see how long my patience lasts. lol

      I have a quandary:
is a a Time Travel book mostly set in the 19th century. Would this be classified as a paranormal or historical?
I see it classified as many things... steampunk, fantasy, scifi, historical, time travel, paranormal. I would say use it where you need to :)
