" Were they married?" Ethan asked, trying not to laugh at Gabriel for having difficulties saying sex. after all she is half-angel.

"Uh huh. He was only here for two years, but he hasn't been able to come back, so I've never met him. Mom talks about him a lot, though. He sounds cool," she smiled.
" I bet, I mean an angel for a father ...... Well that sure as hell beats mine." Ethan laugh, a bit of bitterness at the last part .
Gabriel looked up, hearing his bitterness. "How so?" she asked gently, wanting him to open up to her.
" Well, Id rather not meet my dad and be able to dream about what he's like and all. Like a superhero or something, you know? All great and stuff instead of having a father who's good for nothing and his only desire in life is to make mine a living hell!" Ethan ranted off, losing it by the second.
Gabriel touched his shoulder gently. "Ethan, I'm sorry," she said. "Why does he hate you?" she asked, wanting to help him.

Ethan looked at Gabriel's hand on his shoulder, the first gentle touch he felt in a long time. He didn't want her to move it. " Its not just me," he explained. " it's like he's just constantly angry at the world and decides to take it out at the family. It's not our fault he didn't make anything of himself." Ethan muttered.

Isaac walked to the playground, confused at the strange noises. "Angel girl?" he called, a little worried.
Gabriel continued to lay there, dead and extra-crispy.

Isaac's eyes darkened, black swirling into them that hadn't been there before, and didn't look like a magic that was harmless, either. "Who?" He growled.
Jace was kneeling beside Gabriel's crispy body. "Gabriel..." he trailed off, tears in his eyes.
((Yum, crispy...))Isaac turned around and drove his fist into a nearbby post, the metal blackening and morphing under his fist. I... I'll kill them...
Jace looked at Isaac, fire in his eyes. Literally. "I'll kill them..." he whispered. "I'LL KILL THEM!"
Isaac nodded to Jace, not trusting him self to say anything. "Necromancy." He said hoarsely. "I studied for a while before it was banned in my state. And I've got my trump card hack, too..."
"Did you see who did it?" Jace asked, his voice strong.
"No. I just had... A bad feeling..." Isaac groaned, flopping to the ground with a groan as he forced the black to stay at bay. "I feel like hell."
Jace looked down at Gabriel, his face solemn. "I'm gonna miss her..." he said sadly.
"Yeah. Same." Isaac said softly, glancing up at Jace. If he knew there was a way... Would it drive him over the edge?
Jace sighed and turned away from her body. "What should we do?"
Isaac leant his head back, wincing as it clunked against the pole. "Jace... Did you know I had two sisters?" he asked suddenly.
Jace looked at him, surprised. "What's that got to do with anything?"
The ghost of a smile flickered over Isaac's face. "Just go with it. Have I told you about them?"
"No..." Jace answered, still completely confused.
"They're twins. Polar opposites, light and darkness." Isaac said slowly. "I've had a bad encounter with hacking the darkness... That magic... It can't be controlled. Anyway, it's the 'light' I'm getting to." he glanced up at Jace. "I tried hacking that, too. That's when Maurice appeared. I didn't know before... That stuff isn't light, it's life force."
"Life force? What? You mean..." It suddenly dawned on him.
"If a living, talking, annoying thing of life force can be formed, can't a person be brought... Back?" Isaac said earnestly, the black creeping into his irises again.
