Kyle smiled softly and pulled Ashlynn to her feet,"Thank you for hanging out with us, we feel a bit more welcome."

"No problem. It's been fun." She turned around as she heard a car pull up behind them and watched as Andrew parked, then held up the ice cream cone like a torch. Grinning, Hayden jogged to the window and took it from him, licking it eagerly. "Thanks.""De nada."
Kyle watched silently for a few minutes, then went back to the swings with Ashlynn following closely.
They followed behind. "So who's this crush of yours?" Hayden teased."Hayden," Andrew hissed.
Kyle started to swing silently.
Ashlyn looked up at the sky and tilted her head.

"Ow!" Hayden cried in protest as Andrew elbowed her.
Ashlynn giggled at them and watched them silently.
"Why must you do this to me?" Hayden asked."Because you're like my little sister and it's what big brothers do," Andrew explained.
A look of pain flashed across Hayden's face for a second, but she quickly composed herself. "Of course."
Ashlynn started to swing, her eyes not leaving them for even a moment.
Hayden smiled weakly. "You guys want to do anything?"
Ashlynn shrugged slightly and stared at the sky.
Kyle looked at her,"You okay?"

She nodded mutely."Where are you guys from?" Andrew inquired.
Kyle blinked,"Canada." he said softly.
Kyle smiled softly,"Toronto." he said softly.
Ashlynn nodded slowly.

"That's cool. I've been there a few times."
Kyle looked down,"Our parents wanted us to be there since it was cold and we would have melted if we went anywhere else."
Kyle nodded,"When ice fairies are little we have to stay cold or we will literally melt."
Kyle nodded,"We have the tolerance and skill to survive."
Kyle nodded,"If I suddenly wished not to live anymore I could stop what I was doing and melt~"
Andrew froze. "Please tell me you don't really mean that."
Kyle nodded and kept swinging.
"Good." He swung himself a few times, then planted his feet back in the ground. "I'm from New York," he stated out of the blue."I'm from Berlin," Hayden pitched in.
Kyle smiled softly,"I've always wanted to go to Germany, is it nice?"
"Yeah. But people are so friendly here. It's a bit strange."((Or so I've heard...))

"Ah, so yours is coming up." He nodded.
Kyle nodded and looked down.
Kyle tilted his head,"Really? When are they?"
"Mine's the twenty-first and hers is the twenty-sixth," he answered. Hayden nodded.
Kyle smiled softly,"Happy birthday, then."
Kyle started to hum, closing his eyes.
Hayden pouted and whispered into Andrew's ear, "I'm dying to know who Kyle likes.""But you just met them," Andrew pointed out.
"I know."
Kyle opened his eyes and looked up at the sky silently, a smile on his face.

"Maybe you'll find out later."Hayden grabbed her hair, ran from the swingset, buried her face in her hands, and screamed.
Kyle blinked and looked at her gently. He then chased after her quickly.
"Hayden!" Andrew called out, irritated."I want to knoooooooow!" she moaned.

"Who you like!" she cried."That's none of your business," Andrew muttered, sighing.
Kyle blinked,"I don't really know anyone, so I don't like anyone."
"But what about when your sister pantsed you and you said it was in front of the girl you liked?"Andrew stood, rushed over to them, and dragged Hayden away. "Are you nuts?" he hissed.
"Stop prying," Andrew ordered.Hayden sighed. "Fiiiine."
