Juliana eagerly sprinted to the swingset and started swinging.

((Mine's a time traveler.=3 Haven't looked at his profile in a while.))Eli sat on a bench,looking up at the sky.It was somewhat dark,as there were many clouds in the sky.Most of his time here seemed like a blur,and the blur of the clouds reminded him further of it.All he wanted to do was go home,but controlling his powers was his top prority rigth now.He looked down and spied osmeone on a swingset.She looks so happy. he thougth to himself.A small smile crept up on his face.
Juliana's smile dissipated as her eyes swept the playground. Save for one guy sitting on a bench, the playground was almost empty. Maybe people are just busy, she mused. She jumped off the swing and sauntered over to the guy. "Hi. I'm Juliana."((Mine's a lycan. :3))
((I have an idea what it is,but can you explain it more?))Eli looked up again,blinking.No one ever just went up to him like that."Oh,hi.I'm..." he startedd to saymwutg a tickle in his throat.Just had to happen now. "Sorry about that.I'm Eli.And if i may ask,what are you doing here alone? It's cloudy,so that may be the reason for it."
She shrugged, a smile tugging at her lips. "I like the rain. And though I like making friends, I also like being alone sometimes."
"Same for me." Eli shrugged also.This person seemed to have something in common with him,which wasn't the case with other people.A few drops of rain started to fall.
Juliana grinned and stuck her tongue out, trying to catch the raindrops. "Have you tried thith?" she asked.
Eli tilted his head,slightly amused."No,not really." he replied,getting up from the bench."I guess i should." Smiling,he did the same as her,trying to catch raindrops like her.
She laughed as she felt a drop plunk down on her tongue. "I caught one!"
For some reason,the biggest grin Eli ever smiled came onto his face,then continued to collect raindrops.After a while,he got one,laughing also."I did too!"
"Yay!" She held her hand up for a high five.
High fiving,he continued to catch rain drops.He never remembered having this much fun before,maybe only with his family.And the first great moment her was with someone,just happened right now.Nothing could ruin now.Except the rain started coming down harder.
Juliana frowned. "Maybe we should go find some shelter."
"I guess." Eli replied,then a thought came to him.Why should they? "It's only rain,you won't melt.Or if you want,we could." The last part he added on,not to offend her or anything.For all he knew she could melt,and he could come off as a jerk or something.
She nodded slowly. "Yeah, you're right." Her face split into a grin once more and she started dancing around.
Eli gave her a funny look, but it was an undeserved one at that. He said it was 'only rain.' And he could us the loosinging up.So he started dancing in the rain too.Anyone that saw would probably think he's riduculos,but now he was just having fun.
She laughed as she felt euphoria surge through her and she grabbed his hands, her dancing sporadic and random.
Might as well. Eli thought,dancing along with her,finally letting go.His first chance to act ridiculos,and no one seeing it.And best of all,he got to go back in time to see it as time went on.By time traveling that is.
"This is so much fun!" she cried happily.
"It is!" Eli cried back,dancing even more.He just couldn't help it.This was too much fun.And staying in control didn't seem right at the moment.
She laughed in exhilaration. She couldn't believe she'd found a friend so quickly, one that was willing to dance around with her like a total nutjob.
((I have a feeling i would do that.Xp))After a while,Eli stoped.Tired AND soaked."I think that's enough for now." In truth,he thought someonne would actually see.But that was partially true.Leading her under the shade of a tree,he asked,"Would you mind telling me who you are?"
((It's fun!!))"Juliana. I'm a lycan." She leaned against the tree, panting.
((=) ))"Eli,if i hadn't said it before.And time traveler." he got out before he started panting like her.What just happpend took a lot out of him."What exactly is a lycan?" Eli wondered out loud."I've heard of them but i don't know what they are exactly."
"I can change into a wolf at will," she explained. "And you're a time traveler... that's incredible. What time period do you like to travel to the most?"
"Oh,wow.That's...Think,Eli think...great.And as for what time period,mostly the 1800's.Don't ask why,i just love the era." He explained that,but didn't add the part that he's related to the master of time,and he wasn't sure that person or thing existed for real.
She nodded slowly. "It does sound like an interesting place - time - to be in."
Eli nodded,his only answear.Then something came to mind."Did you think anyone saw us? I'm just a bit curious,since news travels fast,and all."
"I don't think I saw anyone," she replied.
((Happy New Year!!! =D))"Good.If anyone saw,i think i would have to change schools.Again." Eli replied back."Or at least get homeschooled."
((You too! Even though I'm still in 2012! :3))She laughed. "There's nothing to be ashamed of," she joked.
((=3))Eli sniffed a bit."No to be a downer,but i think there is,unless you think of a reason otherwise.That was the most free thing i've done,and someone seeing it would damage my reputation beyond repair."
"Because people are stupid and it shouldn't matter what they think."
"I guess so.It kind of mattered before." Eli replied then shrugged."I guess it doesn't matter now.Everyone here isn't a person or a human."
She shrugged. "True. But everyone has their own faults and quirks. In my opinion, they have no room to judge." Her face split into a grin.
"That's also true." Eli replied,then smiled."Who knows,maybe they did something even worse than me and even more embaresing.No one should judge." Rain kept falling,and Eli could barely see in front of him with the rain.Accidently,or maybe not,he gently wove his hand with hers.
"Exactly." Her heart skipped a beat when his hand met hers, but she didn't move it.
Eli continued to hold her hand,not knowing she minded or not.He was hopeing she was just holding his and to humor him or something like that,but it didn't feel like it.It felt real.Just in case,he asked."You ok?"
"I'm great," she answered, peering at him with a smile. "Are you?"
"Yes." Eli replied,looking back at her."I'm totallly fine.More than it.That was one of the best things i've done in my life." His face broke into a grin,a big one.
"Was it really?" Her smile widened. "Good."
"Yep." Eli replied,then sighed.He came so far,in length and in personality.He didn't care what people thought,and he was finally free.Unconciously,he gripped her hand a little tighter as the rain still fell.
Taking a chance, she leaned into him. "How old are you?" she inquired, curious.
((Taking a guess here...=3 Might be wrong.))Eli noticed she leaned a bit into him,but he dind't care at all.It was actually ok."16.You?"
((:) I'm sorry for not replying sooner, by the way. I never get a notification for the playground. :P))"Same," she replied.
((It's fine really.=) ))Eli nodded,happy she was the same age."So..." he prompted,looking at the sky.
She looked at him questioningly, then followed his gaze. "Guess it's not letting up," she murmured.
"Nope,and being wet doesn't help." Eli muttered back.His clothes clung to him and near everywhere."Hopefully it'll end soon."
((Whoa... I got a notification!))She shrugged. "I kind of like it." She blinked as a raindrop plunked into her eye. "Though it would be nice if it stopped."
((Yay!))"That's how i feel about it too,in a way." Eli replied."It's nice to look at,but it kind of gets in the way."
