Child Called it Is A Sad Story About Boy Who Have Been Abused By His Mother For Years And And People At His SChool Is Trying To Help Him But Everytime He Say SomeThing About The Family Secret His mother Will Smack Him And He Is Really Trying His Best To Find A Way Out Of His House.

the entire time when i was reading this back when i was in middle school and even now as an adult when i reread it i pictured the mom from malcome in the middle as the Mother i dont know why

Such a sad book. :(

We had to read this book in highschool for Child Development class. It was so sad I felt so bad for what David had to go through. Can not believe a mother could do that to a child.
