Vasha7 | 84 comments Here's a question I didn't see covered in the manual: what happens if, after a book is published in one volume, it's later divided up into several volumes? Those don't count as the same work, right? And what should I put as the original edition data for the divided volumes?

Lobstergirl Correct, each divided volume would be a separate entry (not combined with the one-volume edition). If the work was originally published as one volume, then the original publication date of each divided volume would be that original year, and the date of publication of the separated volumes would be whatever the publication data says it is for that volume. Make sense?
