Sean was on his way to practice quidditch when he saw Katie.
Katie was walking back to the castle and passed Sean.
"Hey, what's your name?" Sean asked her.
She looked at him, "Um, Katie." she said. "Why?"
"Just wondering. I'm Sean." He offered his hand.
She looked at it and minute but took it. "Hi."
"Yeah, I'm going out to practice. Want to come? I could show you..." He suggested.
"Um... I'm actually going to go..." she looked at him and sighed. Why do I have to be such a nice Slytherin? she cursed the hat. "Sure." she said to Sean.
"Ok awesome." He really liked Katie. "So, what year and house are you?"
"I'm 5th and Gryffindor. I knew I'd seen you around."
Katie nodded and started to walk with him to the feild. "Yeah, Im pretty sure I've seen you too."

Katie shook her head. "No, I'm single." Wow, I've been askedthat question twice in one day... but the more she thought about it she knew that Jake probably had a diffrent reason for asking.(br )
Great, he thought, hot and single. "Umm, what's your favorite class."
"Nah, I like transfiguration." He then slowly turned his hair blond, starting with a few places but spreading.
She watched his hair change color. "I guess it makes sense for you to like that, you are in Gryffindor. I take it you don't like Snape, right?"
"He's a jerk. But I'm good at transfiguration."
"Yeah, he's a jerk to you griffindors." she said smirking a little.
"Are you good at charms?" Sean asked suddenly.
"Oh, I suck too. I'm wondering, do you like me?" He was dying to know.
Katie looked at him. "Uh.... I guess, um..." What do I say to that? she asked herself.
Sean looked at her expectantly. "Whatever, you say, it won't matter."
"You guess?" He looked crestfallen. "Why?"
"I don't know." she said looking at him.
"How can you not know?! I like you. What's wrong with me?" He felt a little embarrassed.
"Norhings wrong with you." she insisted. "I just don't know you well enough to really... Know."
"Oh whatever. Do you still want to go to the quidditch pitch?" They were nearing it.
"I didn't mean to anger you or anything, Sean." she said not answering his question.
"No, no, it's fine." He said. Was she avoiding the question?
