Random bit of information I can't vouch for:
When in the maze at Hampton Court Palace, although it will lead you to a fair few dead ends now and again, if you turn right at every turning you should eventually reach the centre.

I went to Hampton Court on a school trip in year three, and we couldn't go in the maze I guess because my teacher didn't want to lose thirty seven-year-olds in one of the most complex mazes in the country.
However, if ever I go again I am totes trying this.

*chuckles*

Yeah, and it doesn't help that 7-year-olds are already pretty good at getting lost.

In the original Cabbage Patch Kids commercial/show thing it says that if you don't "adopt" a CPK they're forced into slave labor for the bad guy.

Back when getting your picture taken was long and expensive, families would get pictures taken of their recently deceased because they could sit still long enough to get a decent photo.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow. That's...scary.

That's...almost funny, yet very macabre...

The pilgrims were supposed to settle in what is now New York, but stopped at Plymouth instead because they were out of beer.

I'm sorry, but I now find almost everything beer-related hilarious because of something my dad said.

All four members of the group Neon Trees (formed in Provo, Utah) are LDS. And the Killers gave them their big break. And that is kind of funny because B. Flow is also LDS.

Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (Killers' drummer) lives in Provo, Utah.

Hey, and speaking of Utah, Brandon Flowers grew up in Nephi, Utah.

UTAH JUST GOT INFINITELY MORE AWESOME.

KIMBA!!!

*busts up laughing* That doesn't surprise me at all. A lot of Disney movies are rip-offs.

It's really funny because Romeo & Juliet is a rip-off. Shakespeare only modified the original story by a little bit.

Nevada, New Mexico, California, and Arizona get way hotter. At least than the part of Utah we all live in.

That's where the Bipolarity comes in. It is literally impossible to predict the weather here.

TRIVIAL FACT I CANNOT VOUCH FOR:

It rains one in three days a year here.
e____e
Actually I can vouch for this because it is so bleak and miserable at this time of year.
JULY IS STATISTICALLY THE MOST RAINY MONTH OF THE YEAR.
My existence is so bitter.

But then in the Faeroe Islands it's two in three days, so, can't complain really.

Wow. That's way too wet for me.

I like living in a desert.
