This is a great book to read to children. It's a great ice-breaker at the beginning of the year. It can be used at different times of the year to develop self-esteem. My name is difficult to pronounce and is has a lot of letters like Chrysanthemum's. Children can identify with the character and can make suggestions to help her feel better when the other children make fun of her name.
