listening to explosive sounds coming from the direction of downtown. Could be something. Could be nothing. These days, who knows what it could mean.

Happy Earth Day, everyone! And tomorrow is World Book Night. I'm giving away Bobcat and Other Stories Here's a secret - I've only read Bobcat but not the other stories.

Oh dear. I think the lights off evening is a different day, but it may have gone by already. I picked up a friend at the airport. Her ride was taken down by the stomach bug. We had a nice lunch.
My washing machine has been fixed! Yay! I am hoping to get another 18 years out of it. It just needed was a new belt. Who would have thought. My washing machine likes to accessorise.
Ha! Nothing like accessories to add length to life ;)P.S. Earth day and Earth hour are indeed different things..
Now that, Emily, is a motto I could live with. :)

It's way passed my bed time. It was international day of the penguin today, so I am waddling off to bed.
