Feeling Nostalgic? The archives

Right Now I'm...

There's some funny stuff there, especially if you have young kids.

This was amusing...but surely this guy's 15 minutes must be up. He was on Good Morning America. Really, is that necessary?

I'm trying to remember if I've been to Kalamazoo and blanking. I'm probably thinking of Grand Rapids. I've been to Grand Rapids.

Petoskey is very beautiful.
I was from the opposite side of the Mitten from all the above places, too. I did a lot of traveling about the state. I still need to go to Traverse City.

On my way to B&N...that & Felarry brought me back home.

And right now I'm thinking about going into the kitchen and eating that last brownie.

I would eat that brownie if I had the chance...but, alas, I am eating a frozen, microwave waffle.
Sorry to hear that, Scout. He's lucky to have a mom that'll swim upstream for him if she needs to!
Getting up...ungracefully and unhappily.

I just ran to the mail box and back.
Feeling sadness for the people who got their limbs blown off today. Hoping their loved ones did not see those pictures. Just, sadness.

They're all over the internet. Especially reddit. I don't understand why people keep posting them. I doubt if they were in that position, that they would want pictures of themselves like that everywhere.
Wishing my boss would stop jingling the change in his pocket...makes me insane.
And one of the dead women had gone to the race to watch her friend run. Her ID was in her friend's pocket, she'd given it to her to hold. They both end up at the ER, the friend goes into surgery with a leg injury, the other woman dies, the hospital misidentifies the leg injury woman because she has the dead woman's ID on her, the dead woman's parents show up thinking their daughter is just having surgery, no, she's dead. The mother sees her and says, "That's not my daughter!" AWFUL.

I just talked to a friend whose best friend's son finished the race 15 minutes before the bombs went off. They saw it on the news when they got back to the hotel room.

One of my teachers (at my school, I didn't have him) was at the race; he finished an hour before the bombs went off. My current English teacher wasn't there, but I was terrified that she was because she was absent Mon/Tues and is a huge runner. She came back okay (turns out she was just sick on Monday, meeting on Tuesday) and was confused why I was so relieved. .—.

A good thing, too. I am not sure if you would want to pick up anything in the frozen section, otherwise.
*anorts at Suzbug...trys not to get a mental image of Phil's naked buns in front of the freezer case*
...still pissed off at Aliyah's @(*$&(@#^(@* article post about dating shy guys. GRRRRRRR.

Or, were you asking why I am trying not to get a mental picture of Phil's buns? 'Cause, that really should go without saying. Mrs. Phil might not like it...Mr. Amy mightn't either. :)
