You should read some of the letters. I like him.

message 2903: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments I met him once. He gave a talk when I was in college. Showed up dressed in this wild fur topcoat and brocade vest.

message 2904: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I am immensely jealous.

message 2905: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments He was memorable--seemed to live very much in his own world, though.

Susan | 6406 comments Who doesn't?

No, I'm kidding. I know what you are saying. He was quite eccentric.

Holy shit those are nice envelopes.

I used to do the same thing with letters. Back in the day.

message 2908: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Really?! You should still do it. I think it is beyond fabulous.

message 2909: by [deleted user] (new)

Sooz, I'm fine. They do a CT scan to map my guts before they cut me, and I had to go have a blood test to make sure all the contrast was processed and my kidney function was normal before I went back on Metformin. Sheesh, I did NOT miss those constant finger pricking blood tests!

How're you, dear? I've been absent a week or two.

message 2910: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) We missed you, Ames.

message 2911: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Glad to hear you are doing good. You were only gone a week or two? It seemed longer. I wish you did not have to go through all the poking. This surgery is suppose to make things a lot better, right? I seem to remember you saying something along that line about it.

I am doing well, thank you for asking.

message 2912: by [deleted user] (new)

I look like a junkie I have so many holes! But, yes, it will be better after. It was bumped to Feb 27th. But, all my pre stuff is done now.

Missed you too, Lar. Actually, I have some thing for you. Was shopping with the mr. and couldn't pass it up. Are you still coming to PDX soon, or should I send it?

message 2913: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I hope to come there next month some time. Probably late in the month.

message 2914: by [deleted user] (new)

Surgery is 27th. Try to come before so my Larry & I can take you to dinner!

message 2915: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Yes. Go before, FeLarryix! Then you can give a hug to Amelia from me.

message 2916: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Okay it all depends on how quickly Mrs. Félix recovers from her surgery.

message 2917: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Sorry. I neglected to remember she was in need of your care.

::takes pressure off of FeLarryix and sends hugs to Amelia::

We irritants are like that. Be sure to project strength, as we feed on weakness.

How about anger? I seem to be projecting anger as of late.

Susan | 6406 comments Letting girl dog wedge between me and the couch. It is very windy outside and it scares her. :(

message 2943: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
It's probably actually the poltergeist that scares her.

message 2944: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments There isn't a poltergeist in the house, silly. Just a fairly quiet ghost that hardly bothers us except to play old music, turn on little's toys occasionally and peek in the hall mirror.

Stella is scared of the gusty wind.
