Add one little comma and you're having more fun...

Susan | 6406 comments I had to disassemble the Big Wheel which resulted in, um, some pieces that got a teensie bit busted so we had to return it. :/

::grabs comma and runs::

Susan | 6406 comments Now that was smooth. Slide right in there, didn't you Phil?

message 2811: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11841 comments Hehehe.

You damn skippy!

Susan | 6406 comments No, you.

message 2813: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Cursing the tennis. Finally a night off from the in-laws and I'm stuck in Australian Open traffic. Humph.

message 2814: by [deleted user] (new)

Now that is a bummer Emily.

message 2815: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments I've made it past the crowds now and I've decided they're a good thing. If I was quicker on the way home I might have been part of the four car pile up on the freeway!

In one piece = life is good.

Trying to figure out what the smell in my house is. I have absolutely no idea. It's not the garbage, I took out the garbage.

message 2819: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11841 comments Dead rodent in a crawlspace?

message 2820: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
No. It's nothing that horrific.

Susan | 6406 comments Phil wrote: "Dead rodent in a crawlspace?"

That is such an awful smell.

message 2822: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I came here to tell about something spooky. Doesn't Heidi have a spooky thread or something?

message 2823: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
Yes, there is a spooky thread. Look in Heidi's section, probably.

message 2824: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments What no clicky thread jumper.

I have to do my own work.

Oh man.

Here it is...for your lazy ass.

message 2826: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I could glomp the living love out of you because there are thousands of threads in Heidi's Caboodle.

Plus, for some reason I typed in "Heidi's Caboodly" which does not exist.

message 2827: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
I don't think searching by section header will get you there. You generally have to search for a word or words inside the thread, or in the thread header.

message 2828: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I don't usually search like that. I have no idea what came over me.

message 2829: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

I do: laziness.

Plus, I like to picture you zipping through your spreadsheets*.

*I first wrote spreadshits.

mark monday (majestic-plural) right now i just woke up from my umpteenth nap and am now absorbed in this absorbing thread full of absorbing comments. a rather skin-crawling version of absorbing, but absorbing nonetheless. however i just saw this:

~Geektastic~ wrote: "Right now I'm not feeling too well. I'm not sure if being pregnant is making me a bigger baby than usual, or if I'm just using that as an excuse to try to go home early today..."

and wanted to say

Amber! did not know you were pregnant! i should follow threads besides Cute Aminals more often. first off, awesome news regarding pregnancy. second, of course it makes you a bigger baby than usual* but who cares, you are a pregnant mother and that's what can happen and you should be as big a baby as you need to be, without feeling any guilt. i hope you went home early!

*says the guy who is a big baby and will also never be pregnant.

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Feeling hopeful - I just sent my first application to adopt a dog :)

message 2840: by evie (last edited Jan 16, 2013 04:09AM) (new)

evie (ecie) | 4442 comments That's exciting, Emily! When do you know which cute little darling you'll be owning?

message 2841: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments It's actually a pretty involved process. They assess the applications, do reference checks, come and inspect your yard/house and then you get the pup on a 28 trial period to make sure you get along. Then you can officially adopt them!

I will keep you posted if I'm successful :)

message 2842: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4442 comments Good luck. I'm sure you will be successful.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Good luck with the puppy, Emily!

message 2844: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Thank you! Fingers and toes crossed :)

P.s. the application was a 4 page questionnaire!

message 2845: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Yay Emily!!

We had to do the same thing for our pups!

Puppies!

::fingers crossed::

message 2846: by Susan (new)

I like it when places will not let anyone adopt black cats around Halloween, too.

Sick at home for the third day in a row - sneezing, congested, and coughing. Watching endless episodes of "Dateline," "20/20," and "On the Case with Paula Zahn" is alright for about a day and a half, but when every day is Saturday, suddenly Saturday isn't so special anymore.

Plus I feel like shit... Hold on. Maury's about to reveal the DNA results!

message 2849: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments Hope you feel better soon, Clark.

I have a nasty cough myself, which isn't very practical when you have to talk to customers al day. I'm glad phones have mute buttons so I can cough my lungs out while the customer talks.

message 2850: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments You just missed little's nap time. He would have loved to share his nap time with you.
