Feeling Nostalgic? The archives

Right Now I'm...

It doesn't matter what the reason is, go home early anyways!
Waiting on birthday cakie-poos to finish baking!
Amberrrrrrrrrr! How are you? I was thinking of you over Christmas. Take care of yourself, that is your first priority. This is a very special time.

Why do people feel the need to attack you, Dubs? I really don't like it.

Really, Bunwat? You see no good reason why Kyle might have felt anger at the way he's been treated in this group? I don't think you're being honest.

He posted a link to a video, which is very different from posting an embedded video. Anyone is free to click or not click on any link that leads to youtube or any other site. Personally I almost never click on youtube links precisely because I have no idea what they will contain.
If you see your role as psychoanalyst to TC members, maybe you should be upfront about that, then. I personally don't care if someone is here seeking attention. If their attention seeking becomes annoying, I'll just read their posts quickly and move on. If it becomes hellishly annoying, I'll block them.

Classic projection.
"Projection is a defense mechanism that involves taking our own unacceptable qualities or feelings and ascribing them to other people. For example, if you have a strong dislike for someone, you might instead believe that he or she does not like you. Projection works by allowing the expression of the desire or impulse, but in a way that the ego cannot recognize, therefore reducing anxiety."
Bunwat, you are the person who has difficulty being challenged, not Kyle. Kyle was directly challenged (mods asked him to change his behavior) and he responded by changing his behavior. He became more compliant.

Milk it, Amber! Let 'em carry your crap and open doors for you and rub your shoulders. People treat you like a delicate flower while you're pregnant and you should enjoy it! Once that baby is born they won't treat you like you're special anymore...even though that's when you really need the TLC. Such is life. Murphy's laws and whatnot.

Hi Gail! Doing pretty well, considering I generally want to sleep like a hibernating bear but have to drag myself to work.

**glomps**"
Yay! I needed a good glomp."
I don't want to glomp you, Amber, so much as give you a gentle hug and talk to your belly and sing to it. :)

okay, okay. I'm good.
::tries to stay calm and quiet::
Pirate otters...yeeesssss.

Oh! You'll love it. Love it, love it, love it.

They lost me at a "racy PG-13" and the probability that someone might read a book that jumps into action by the first chapter without realizing that would be the nature of the book.
