My best guess would be either Goodnight Gorilla or Bear Snores On.

He's only ONE and he's already on Goodreads?

That cracks me up.

Hey, there are a lot of board books on GR, plus those puffy plastic books you can take in the bath with you. No reason why 1-2 yr olds shouldn't be reviewing those, unless you acknowledge the rule that you have to be 13 to have an account.

message 2616: by Susan (last edited Dec 19, 2012 12:28PM) (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I say start them early. Little sits and "reads" me his books. I love it. We read certain books so much that I can recite them even when he flips quickly through the pages. He also sings me songs, which I love, too.

He also does not rip pages in his book.

Driving through Eureka. No offense to anyone if you live there...but, it was rather a disappointment.

You know how they have their favourite stories and you have to read the same ones over and over? I would try to skip bits of the text because I'd read the same story a zillion times and I was about to go mad, but my daughter would correct me .

message 2619: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4442 comments I am drinking a beer and wrapping presents. We are visiting a friend tonight who adopted a delightful little boy this year. This is his first Australian christmas, and the first with a family, and I can't wait to give him his present.

Félix (habitseven) Yay! I can't remember the last time I saw them.

message 2637: by [deleted user] (new)

Neither can they, but they send their love anyway.

message 2638: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) That's heart warming.

message 2639: by [deleted user] (new)

Speaking of warming...the mister's mom wanted him to light the gas fire. She had him hold the lighter thing right down the middle of the fake log pile then flipped the gas to full! The mister now has naked fingers. The smell of burning hair still lingers.
