Hoping Donna is NOT the new companion...

Uh oh.
She's annoying at first (I didn't like her), but she grew on me and became my favorite.

Damn, I'm angry.

I just watched Runaway Bride then the one where the hospital got transported to the moon last night. I'm glad she gets better, because in that one she was a SHREW! I'm all queued up to watch some Shakespeare episode next.

Right now I'm enjoying a few precious minutes of down time. Jeeze, this week as been unseasonably busy for me! Between work, home, teaching the wee'uns on Sunday morning and my new project:

It's not like I'm doing this all by myself. Imago Dei is something entirely separate, they just started the work. Our congregation is going to start doing it too for the East County area and my dad got me to head up the project here. So, getting things started has been taking up time.
Still, church affiliation aside, ('cause it has no religiousness to it, you aren't allowed to put notes or anything inside with any religious wording or symbols...as they're going to a DHS office...) don't you think it sounds like a really cool thing? I'm excited.
What I'd really like to do is win the lottery so I didn't have to work and adopt a few of them...(says the girl who's dithering about adopting a dog. Still a dog is a serious commitment, right? I should give it a lot of thought, shouldn't I?)

He's so darling, though, Bun. And, I've got Mr. Amy pretty much talked into it. I'm just having trouble making the final decision. I mean, we're home plenty and in his current situation he's alone A LOT. Mr. Amy works from home, and most nights we're both home. Plus, lots of places he could go with, like my folks' house and that. He's only a wee thing. Financially it'd be fine.
But, a dog is like a kid, not like a cat who mostly does it's own thing, and I'm used to cats. Speaking of cats, there is always the question of how the cats would tolerate him, and they were there first, so we have to be fair.
But, he's really, really, really darling.
*sigh*

You think TCers would be interested in making boxes for foster kids?
Hmmm. I'll throw it out there tomorrow and see what happens!

Yikes, Misha. Hope it all works out okay. Sorry to hear about your friend!
I would ask him what return on his time investment he is expecting to receive, then maybe you can tell him if he is wasting his time...and find someone a little less selfish.
Eating leftovers.
Eating leftovers.
Is that him in your Av, Laurin?

I would say he's pretty selfish. He gets mad that I don't come visit more often, but he won't come to see me. I feel like we have nothing in common anymore, and that it's just convenience relationship right now. I'm also tired of him making me feel guilty all the time.
Oh, 'cause he's kinda scrumptious. I was going to give you the "it doesn't matter how handsome they are if they don't treat you well" talk.
Heiders, check out Laurin's AV close up. :)

Laurin, honey, it sounds a lot like you've already made up your mind. Do you need someone to tell you it's okay? Because, it's okay. It's okay to want to be treated well, and it's okay to want things in common with your partner. You shouldn't feel guilty and you shouldn't feel pressured. Follow your heart and do what's best for YOU.
I think he's already Laurin's. Finders Keepers and all that.
He is yummy though, huh?
He is yummy though, huh?

He is yummy though, huh?"
No takesies backsies!

He is yummy though, huh?"
Totally mine, sorry ladies.

The smiling dentist... what will he find to smile about?

He is yummy though, huh?"
Totally mine, sorry ladies."
AHH!!! I'll let you have this one.

I love Bun!
Laurin, we're rooting for you. You've gotten some good advice here. Especially #2399

Playing scrabble with my nephew in Cali while watching Dr. Who. Finally crossed with Torchwood.

I'd say #2399 is a winner.

Right now, I can smell the mangoes we have in our fruit bowl.
