Just back from Connecticut - not near the shore. We went to Mohegan Sun on Sunday to avoid the weather. It was a little rainy and windy, but nothing outrageous. No damage or power outages at my sister's or here at home. All is well with my close family. Wishing the best for those affected.

glad the generator worked. the power is back on after 36 hours without but the generator worked well. lost cable and internet for 24 hours but it's obviously working now at least in merrimack, nh. small branches all over my front yard.

Shopping for a folding camp stool. The cutest ones are on Etsy, but the shipping is outrageous. I wish I could just find one at a garage sale for $5, but the garage sale season is over. All the ones at Amazon are ridiculously low to the ground (9 inches? 12 inches?).

Some of the reviews are pretty funny. One smallish woman wrote that the seat was uncomfortable for her because her butt was too small, but a larger person with a fat, cushioned butt would be perfectly comfortable because of the extra cushioning. Other people note that they all seem to be made for children, not adults.
