Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Did not see any actual politicians. But my daughter did advance work for President Obama in Boone. She is an Iowa for Obama intern. The Des Moines Register referred to the group of clipboard-wielding volunteers as "earnest hipsters."

I am feeling lucky right now. At my daughters hockey game last night I found a four leaf clover. Does finding it at night make it extra lucky?

message 1694: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
Yes because it means you have good night vision, which means you are less likely to get into car crashes at night.

Squee! Right now I am working on my Kris Kringle project. This year I have decided to make something rather than slacking off and buying it! I am quite excited about this project as it is a skill I learned as a kid. I'm starting now just to make sure it's perfect.
