I was responding to #1710, but I'd also like to apologize for making fun of my cousin's husband in 1994. I still feel bad about it.

Glen is glad to hear it.

Yay for decluttering! I love doing that. Is something bothering you? Or is it too hot for sleeping LG?

message 1504: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24788 comments Mod
No, it's not too hot. Actually it's fine (at the moment), I just had too much caffeine in my system. I'll be exhausted in about 5 hours and have to take a nap.

It's funny to see that my last comment initiated a lively discussion on how and when to use a semicolon ;-) I should rather use more full stops.

Cloudedleopard | 44 comments I already noticed that you really discuss EVERYTHING.

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Cloudy person, are you being CRITICAL? Yes, we discuss EVERYTHING. That's just the way we roll.

Yes - and no. I'm not critical about you discussing everything. That's not only fine for me but that's how this group works and what it's for, isn't it?
But I am critical about many things that happen around me and mostly about imprudent statements (and don't get me wrong: I am not saying that this happened here!)

message 1511: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments I was just kidding you, Cloudy.

Cloudedleopard | 44 comments Cynthia wrote: "I was just kidding you, Cloudy."

I know! I was being told that I need to have a good level of "sarcasm-resistance" for this group. It seems that my level is even above some of yours ;-)

message 1513: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Sarcasm. It's what's for breakfast.

not a sequel! i wish. here, i'll spoil it for you: apparently the moon is full of crab/spider things that look like rocks and will crawl inside your space suit and get you.

the film was completely lame.

Oh poor pup and his collar. I hope he/she feels better soon. My old cat had one of those when he had a tumor on his nose removed . He was very embarrassed.

That was nice. The last time I was at the big public library, the most adorable, sweetly Asian girl came up to me and asked if I would like to attend their Bible Study (in the library). I was tempted! Very, very tempted.

I Swiffed® and vacuumed the dining room. Also wiped down the dining room table which had some.....dusty corners. I don't know if I have the domestic stamina to do laundry as well. There are Liberty Ales in the fridge calling my name!

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Getting ready to do laundry, pay a mountain of bills, sort through catalogs and junk mail, make roasted tomato sauce and tidy the kitchen. Good lord, I will certainly need some more coffee.

Also, there are 12 ears of sweet corn that will need to be turned into black bean salsa. Oh, Brother.

That sweet corn? Pathetic. 12 kernels per cob. Not enough to warrant the work of black bean salsa. Shoot.
