I just took a phone survey from the "Life and Marriage Movement," whatever that is. I told them I'm voting for Santorum, I'm pro-gay, pro-abortion, and I demand that everyone else pay for my birth control regardless of their personal religious beliefs.

No. What, do most people have a record button on their phone? Please! You must think I have technical skills.

You mean he's a far-left liberal trapped in the body of a Santorum voter? Or he likes to mess with political pollsters?

I was really just trying to give them inaccurate data.

HA HA HA!! Did you tell them you were a birther?

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Dr. Cynthia loves telling investment people that he puts all of his money into gold and silver. They don't know what to say.

Jammies Cyn, I put all my money into books, perfume and nail polish.

Phil | 11841 comments Airshow practice for Thunder Over Utah begins in about 10 minutes. Right now I've finished riding and am heading to the shower so I can sit outside and enjoy the show. There's an acrobatic plane, a wing-walker, three Marine Corps Osprey fighters (OOH-RAH!) and a couple of others. The Blue Angels will do their practice run at 3:00.

Can you get a beer there?

message 1071: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Right now I'm drinking a cup of coffee and I'm not sure if it's my second or my third. Oops.

message 1072: by Louise (new)

Louise Any pink elephants Cat?

Don't worry Jammies, I usually loose track after 4th cup :-)

message 1073: by Laurin (last edited Mar 17, 2012 09:02AM) (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments My coffee is currently in a styrofoam cup from speedway, but I'm most likely going to put it in a nicer cup, because it's lukewarm and I don't like to heat things in styrofoam. And I'm about to watch Murder, She Wrote and make brownies and Texas sheet cake.

Relatives of yours?

message 1077: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments They used to live in my college dorm. Nice guys but don't get them riled up. They can be fierce, especially if you talk trash about their moms.

message 1078: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11841 comments My spot has been discovered. The empty lot at the edge of the desert is now home to a fire engine (the guys are all sitting in lawn chairs in front of it). There are also several other cars. I think my neighbor should go ahead with their BBQ, and charge others for burgers and dogs.

message 1081: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments Right now I'm considering leaving one of my GR groups. Fun and games are one thing, but someone being a hard core asshole really takes the fun out of things. I don't have the tolerance for it.

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Amber, I hate that.

message 1083: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Amber just walk away and hold your head up high. It's not worth it.

message 1084: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments Thanks Cat von Zardoz. I think you get where I'm coming from here, having witnessed it yourself. Maybe he'll chill out in a couple of days, but if this individual keeps going at his current pace, I don't know if I can put up with it right now. I have enough assholes in my real life. I'm a little sad, as I used to follow this person's reviews and he seemed really smart and nice, but even in a group that encourages assholery (for fun), he's pushing it a bit far.

(And you're right, Cynthia. Jerks aren't worth it.)

message 1085: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments *rolls up sleeves*

So do we know this jerk, Amber? Between Tardis and myself, we can probably take him down a peg. I'll call my Labor Union buds for backup.

message 1086: by Jammies (new)

Jammies C'n I eat his brain? Pwease?

message 1087: by ~Geektastic~ (last edited Mar 19, 2012 10:50AM) (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments He could probably do with some roughing up. He seems like one of those guys that's all for talking shit but would hide when the fists started flying.

Our Tardis has been putting him in his place rather nicely over there, and he hasn't some out from under his rock yet today.

I'll be sure to save you some leftovers, Jammers. He's actually pretty smart (based on his reviews), just taking the freedom of that particular group a little too much to heart.
