What did you decide? I hope you're feeling better.

How much peanut butter does that require, per day? Seems like you could stuff 1.5 cups of PB in there.

message 903: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) They probably get less than a 1/4 cup each a day. The kongs come in different sizes.

Well said. Two sacks of shit earlier today. Now? Just a sack of shit, so things are looking better. Hope you're feeling better too.

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments Right now I'm feeling very sad. Our family dog Stryder, who has been living with my sister, died yesterday. He had lymphoma and had just started his treatments, but it was too late to help him.

message 907: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Awww! So sorry, Amber.

message 912: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments Thanks for the good thoughts everyone. I am sad, but I also know he had a good life (he was 10) and was very well loved. He was a very sweet dog and we'll miss him, but I'm also glad he didn't have to suffer through a long, grueling battle with his cancer. He was only diagnosed a few weeks ago and this quick end seems better in the long run.

Jammies Oh, Amber, I'm so sorry. *hugs*

message 924: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments So sorry about that, Amber. I'm sure your dog knew he was loved. My Robby's been getting extra scratches behind the ears lately. I've read more sad dog news lately than anyone should be comfortable with...

Right now I'm listening to my clothes rolling around in the dryer, eating chicken & vegetable soup w/ soda crackers, and watching Disney's Summer Magic. It's my go-to relaxing, feel-good movie with all the little critter montages, life out in the country, evenings on the porch, & sing-alongs w/ Burl Ives. Robby's about 4 feet from me on the floor, sunbathing & snoring - cuteness overload.

Angela~twistedmind~ (twistedmind) | 538 comments I'm so sorry about your beloved pet, Amber. Losing a pet is extremely hard.

Right now I'm kicked back chillin' in bed, playing catch-up with all the GR groups' posts. I can assure you, I won't be getting through them all. I belong to only 3 groups at GR and it takes me at least 30 minutes to get through the posts sent to my e-mail.......and that's just skimming through them. God forbid I start putting my two cents worth in.

Sometimes people only have time for one cent.

message 927: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments I heard Bill Gates (or some other uber wealthy person) wouldn't even stop to pick up a $100 if they dropped it because it's not worth the few seconds it would take to pick it up...

Clearly I have time for a cent or two.

message 928: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments I'm having a productive Monday morning. Made my appointment with Murray the tax guy, scheduled my recall repair on my car, made a batch of cold brew coffee, played fetch with Carl, read the paper.
