The series you are referring to is Robin T. Popp's Nightslayer series. I think there are four books out with Lord of the Night as the last one. I don't know if a new one is in the works.

Your welcome, Dana! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the other series.

New_user, they are not exactly gargoyles, but Chupacabras, which I think is a South American mythical creature.

new_user | 1389 comments Well, that's a creative take on the old theme. So the vampires don't turn to stone or anything? Lol, now I'm disappointed.

Jennifer (jen421) | 201 comments A chupacabra is a South American legend. There kind of like ugly feral dogs that feast on the blood of goats.

Are you sure it's not Kerelyn Sparks
How to marry a millionare Vampire? from Love at Stakes-series.
Even if not-this is a fun read.

Haha I can't hide my books from the hubby. He usually takes me up to the store on his pay days and lets me get enough books to last me till his next payday.
these books sound cool... the vampire turing to chupacabra. I might have to check them out. I have been reading the Sookie Stackhouse books but I only have 2left till I am done with the ones that are out. Then I will need to start on a new series.
