David Brown (davidmbrown) | 4 comments 1) What is your name and bio?
David M. Brown. I was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and studied History and English at university. In 1999, while still at college, I first came up with the idea for the Elencheran Chronicles and have been writing ever since.

2) What is your book title, synopsis, and where can readers find it?
Fezariu's Epiphany: "The White Oak, Clarendon’s oldest brothel, lured and destroyed men by the thousands. Fezariu was different. He had never been drawn by the White Oak’s vices but the brothel had still ruined him when he was just a boy. Salvation came in the form of the Merelax Mercenaries – Elenchera’s most prestigious hired hands. They gave Fezariu the chance to escape from his past. Immersed in the world of dangerous assignments in the colonies Fezariu longed to forget everything about his childhood but only in facing the past would he ever be free of it."
It's available in paperback and ebook from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

3) Where do you come up with your ideas?
History is my main source of inspiration, particularly the indispensible Cassel’s World History. This timeline of historical events has inspired many stories in Elenchera and has been the most influential book in helping me shape my world.

4) What books/authors do you like to read?
I’ll read any type of fiction but do enjoy sci-fi/fantasy, not just because it’s a great genre but because I’m always learning from my peers. When not reading fiction I’ll be losing myself in a good history book especially if it’s Ancient or Medieval History.

5) What's your next writing project?
I’m currently working on my second novel, A World Apart, which will be a much lengthier book than Fezariu’s Epiphany, and hopefully this story will be even better.

Thanks
Dave
