L Good Luck!

Here in the UK the Universities that interest me are a London one, but also Brighton (although being good their entry requirements are high).

Good luck also with getting your work published in a magazine or other media. I have always been told that if you want to do something in life, then to get out there and try! :) x

cool! i watched a tv shows (icarly, kids show) about an episode with fencing and it seems so cool! except my mom would probably kill me with one of those if she caught me fencing.

Gabrielle (gabshi) Strange how you can find a group on Goodreads and be writing with complete strangers and somehow feel like you've reunited with a long lost friend or two. I feel like i know you people when i don't really at all

Exactly. It's like you've been searching and when you're on the internet doing the things you love, turns out a thousand other people are too.

I completely agree. It is so nice to be able to converse with people who understand my passion and love of writing, and the enjoyment that i have with reading. Also, understanding the power of ones imagination (i am always told that i have a vivid imagination), that is alive when creating a new world and creatures that spring to life on paper.

Anyone want to meet someone who's been dead for over three hundred years? (such as... say... hmm... Lorenzo de' Medici or... hmm... Dante Alighieri?)

message 62: by Tara ♪ (new)

Does anyone want to perform for the president/prime minister, etc.? :)

Does something ever happen and you just get song lyrics popping into your head. (Like, for me, if something good happens, I think of "O Praise the Mighty Lord" by Handel) :)

Anyone ever wished they knew another language solely to be able to read books in that language in their original, untranslated format?

L yeah! you know that odd feelin' and the sensation of being on the brink of an epiphany?
