If you became a vampire (Stephanie Meyer's type of vampires) what POWER would you want to have??

Control over the elements... like that vampire boy from Egypt I think it was? Deffinately would have fun using this power at night on a deserted beach and have a fun lightning/thunder/crazy waves/bonfire party!!
Hmmm.... I think as HELPFUL as Mind-reading could be, I see how it could also get annoying.... so if I didnt go for that, I'd probably go for the ability to influence or control emotions. I really liked the fact that Jasper could do that. :)
I would have the power to read whatever book I could, like Arcs and books not yet released. So I could read the Iron Knight!haha

I would love to have things turn out the way I want them too. Sort of like controlling the future.
i agree with you, seeing what we could do in the future would be more than amazing. for me, my power would be either seeing into the future or mind reading - that would be cool. overall, i would say speed is of the essence.

Does anyone wonder whether mind reading could be more of a curse than a gift? Not sure I'd really want to know whatever everyone was thinking all the time. Bit like Sookie?
maybe combination of Edward, Bella and Benjamin abilities. Since I can read people's mind or enemy. i can shield myself from other vampires' mental gifts and able to cast the shield away and control it. And i also can influence the elements--earth, wind, water, and fire like Benjamin. It will be the strongest weapon to fight the enemy :D
I think my power would be to take away the powers from someone else within a 3 mile radius and use them for myself (but only 1 or 2 at a time).

I would want my special powers to be to "stop time" like "hit pause" and even maybe to have the ability to replay events to help solve crimes or understand them more clearly....and if that isn't asking too much I'd like to also be able to mentally transport myself w/ just a thought or be able to see someone just by thinking of them......

but if i couldn't, i would love to time travel if that exists for vampires.
