Miu purred lazily as she licked her mistress awake.

Flare yawned, stretching awake. She meowed loudly, wishing the old lady would remember to put out some more food.

Jewel ran around while the toddlers attepted to grab her tail. After a while she got bored and jumped onto the fence, watching the children cry happily.

Flare grimaced at the sound of toddlers crying. Ugh... what a horrible noise! Stupid two-legs...

A brown cat bounded across the dewy grass. The cat seemed to float above ground, her steps were so light. Her fur was blown back from her angular face, making her features erectly beautiful.Her name is Dapple.

Jewel stiffed, wondering who was there. She could hardly tell, by the little sound whatever it was was making. She had heard stories about the wild cats, moving swiftly and never missing an attack. "Hello?" she asked uncertantily.

"Hello," Dapple purred. She wrapped her tail around her and stared at the wary cat.

Jewel sniffed the cat nervously. "Are you from around here?" she asked rudely, not recegnizing the scent.

" I live in Riverway, If thats what you mean." Dapple almost laughed at the look on the cat's face.

Jewel saw the cat stifle a grin. "Hpf," she said, and jumped back onto the fence and watched with disgust as the children tried to pull her down by the tail.

Dapple pounced lightly down by the children's feet, letting them stroke her softly. Her eyes widened with inocence as she saw the infuriated look on the black cat's face.

Jewel scowled down at the cat. "Excuse me," she said. "But I did not give you permission to go in my property."

Dapple bounded away and called over her shoulder, "Goodbye!"

Jewel rolled her eyes and hissed at her.

Jewel rolled her eyes again and pranced up to them. She turned to the cat. "Why don't you just go away? No one wants you here."
