M.A. Demers | 169 comments Had an interesting conversation with a long-time friend who is having trouble reading my novel, Baby Jane, because instead of hearing her own voice as the narrator (as one typically does) she's hearing mine -- and it's freaking her out. She's never had this experience before. Has anyone ever had anyone close to them experience something similar? (Posted this on FB too so apologies if it's a repeat to some.)

Larry Moniz (larrymoniz) Hi M.A., now that's different! I've never before heard of that happening. Rather like hearing someone singing on American Idol and hearing the sound of the original hit record in one's head. Fascinating.

Lovern Kindzierski | 10 comments I find it strange that she hasn't heard the writer's voice before. I think it would be unusual would to hear my your own voice. Doesn't that mean that the writer has no voice?
