Skye stood up. "Do we get a defense lawyer?"
"No, Moka, no. This is a vampire matter. No lawyers. Just the committee"
Skye was speechless. "But..."
"It's our way, mom. I'll be fine. I'm strong" He smiled.
Logan nodded. "I believe they'll see Ávvu's innocence"
"Will they? I hardly look innocent. I'm more of a failure..." Ávvu said softly.
"You speak the truth with dignity. They will..."
Skye smiled through teary eyes and hugged Avvu. "They shall, don't worry..."
He hugged her close. "When's the summons?" He asked, closing his eyes.
"That's today. We crossed the timezone..." Logan breathed.
Skye gasped. "It's today?!?"
Logan nodded. Ávvu got up. "I'll go pack my things"
Skye nodded. "Go do that, Avvu..." she said. She turned back to Logan. "What do we do now?"
Logan sighed. "We wait till we land. Then go to the Summons" Ávvu walk Doug, bloody tears rolling down his cheeks. He kept his head down, packing his things slowly. He ran his hand along the familiar wall, seeing everything in a new light.
Skye hugged Logan tightly. "I'm scared..."
"Don't be. He's my son. He's strong. He's your son. He's cunning"
Skye looked up at Logan. "I guess... But still... The summons..."
"They're not allowed to!"
