Much love to you all xx
I treated myself to a Limited Edition Shell Pink Fender Mustang guitar which I call Ponyboy. Second hand, but it belonged to a lovely young musician and songwriter, so it was heavily gigged and all the dings and chips were earned honestly. That's a grand bit of relic! and there is a lovely sticker of a dog wearing sunnies on it. I also picked up a pink lead and a yellow strap with horses on it. And two music books for easy guitar tabs - The Best of The Beach Boys and another with 58 Christmas songs. I also had donuts in lieu of cake and shared them around my guitar class. Definitely, I'm spoiled rotten. <3
Oh, and yes I bought myself a book for Β£1 too Thunderball by Ian Fleming - the page numbers start at 001, 002, etc. I was reading it aloud on the bus. People were quite kind and smiled a lot.
Thanks all! Actually no one buys me books because they never know what I have already read. But I have got new Bluetooth ear buds to improve my audio reading experience! And flowers, and the expectation of going out to dinner tonight. So all is good in my world:)
Thanks everyone. It turned out to be an eventful day. We got home from my birthday dinner to find we had gone out without a door key. Locked out of our own house in the dark. Luckily we found one small window not locked and hubby managed to squeeze through. The funniest bit was our dog inside licking his face as he tried to climb in. Alls well that ends well:)

Oh dear :( Sounds like a key planted outside somewhere might be the go! And while you found the licking funny, I bet your hubby didn't ;)

I have managed to go many, many years without ever needing a spare key hidden outside but I guess you are right Trish - forgetfulness is starting to kick in:(
