Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes Brenda, Dale, Leonie, Phrynne, Kylie, and Carolyn! I was in hospital most of last week, and am recovering at home now. I bought myself a second-hand pair of red shoes from an op shop, and am over the moon as I wanted red shoes for a long time and they're so soft and lush. On my birthday tomorrow I'll be attending my skiffle class, playing Lonnie Donegan and Ledbelly on my pink guitar, 'Sophie', and trying to finish the September reading challenge I fell behind on. Does it get any better than this? Much love to everyone x

Cheers Patty!! I had a pair of well-worn sparkly red shoes years ago but swapped them with a pair of well-worn black ones with a girl I met at a gig. Unfortunately it's raining, so the shoes will stay home today. Thank you Brenda <3
