ABANDONED. Series I want to continue

I can't remember the title or the author but the plot is based around three different dimensions. One centers on a kingdom of goblins who go around scraping up the metal from these giant robot things, another is of two waring kingdoms of I think fairies and people with more eagle like wings or something and the third dimension is controlled by three dragons that make any humans that possess a bit of magic or something to fight in wars between them or something. That's all I can really remember. If you can think of a title or an author that might have written this please let me know.

Longshot, but is this the Death Gate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman?
