Cori | 8 comments I was wondering if people have been noticing they are winning first reads less frequently. I used to win a new one as soon as I'd review a book, then I've had like 6 months of nothing.

I saw someone post on twitter about that and a handful of people commented that they had the same experience. What gives?

I've been here a year, and I've won a total of 3. Last one was back in April though. Been a dry spell since.

Steve (mixmix) what is this you speak of?

You can win free books from publishers and whatnot. Sometimes ARCs and such.

Denae (whimsicalmeerkat) How did I not know about this? I need to get out more.

Steve (mixmix) Yeah this is kind of neat, thanks all.

No prob :)

Be sure to check it out a few times a week. There's usually a few new books you can try for.

Denae (whimsicalmeerkat) Yeah, I went through the other day and put in for a bunch of stuff that looked at least remotely interesting. I figured even if it's crap, there's not much of a downside.

Cori | 8 comments 6!!! Nice. Have been on a dry spell for a year an a half now... Apply for about a dozen every few weeks when I remember.
