Help! I am not the author of Beowulf!

Hi, this is really weird, but the other day my Goodreads Author page suddenly started saying at the top that I am the author of Beowulf. Which (sadly) I am not. I can't figure out what happened-- Beowulf does not show up in the list of books I have written, only at the top of my page-- or how to change it... it's very strange. Does anyone have any idea?

Ah. As I understand it you are not the only person having this problem. According to this thread the cause of the problem is know, but the solution is still being worked on.

I just noticed it isn't only saying it on the top of the page but a reader became a fan if mine last night and on her page under favorite authors it says, Gwenn Wright, author of Cleopatra.

Yeah. That data is coming from the same place.

Exactly what is triggering this is unclear (that is, where the bad data is coming from is known; but why the system is looking there when it shouldn't be is not), but someone IS working on it.
