Umm... Well I think that I have to say Jace. I love his personality, he's funny, sarcastic, and has strong beliefs. But I also really like the other characters, Luke and Simon would have to some of my favourites and I also like Clary. Ifind that you end up liking most of the characters cause their well developed a d you can relate to them.
haha completely. But I think my favourite Character is a tie between Jace(obviously) and Magnus, because he is just so amazing :P I also like Simon and Isabelle is pretty kick-ass :)
Magnus seems to be really popular... but why not? He is the most unique character in the book! Next to Simon, I like Alec and Magnus and Luke, I think.

I love Jace he's my #1 but for some reason Sebastian is my 2nd fave
Hey can any body guess how old Jace was when he got his first mark?a clue Shadowhunter can get marked at 12 like Alec but that is still young.
If you know the actual answer don't ruin it let the people who don't know guess.

Some poeple HATE Sebastian, but I dont really mind him. At some parts I like him alot and at others, I dont really care :P
I felt sorry for him, cause really it wasn't his falt, it was his fathers falt for infecting him with the blood from a demon, and so thats what he thinks is right.
well, I never reallt felt sorry for him. Because by the end, when you hear him talking with his father, you realize just how heartless he is. Though, it was interesting to see Valentine being genuinely nice to someone. Sebastian is deffinitely not one of my favourite characters, but I did like him. If that makes sense :P
well he's my 2nd fave my fave scene is where he tells everyone off then beats them up
My favourite scenes are the ones where Simon makes fun of Jace, like I love Jace, but it's just funny when someone like him is burned especially by the one person that he likes to bug the most.
I don't remember an specific ones, but there are a few of them, it's been awhile since I read them.
yeah but even if simon made fun of JaceJace always has a come back so simon never really can make fun of him :)
Ya but there were a few times that he got him or Clary did too, but ya it is normally Jace that gets the last word.
only during something serious still i don't think simon ever got him in the ernest

Same here, it's nice to reread books sometimes, but I don't have the time to reread book, to many that I haven't read yet to read.

Yeah, I read them for the first time recently (which is why I'm suddenly on this TMI high) but I can't be sure, of course.

Finally! Someone else who loves Simon.
How can anybody not?
Simon is an amazing friend to Clary and does everything for her. He sacrifices so much. He held back his feelings for TEN YEARS because he didnt want to ruin the friendship they had. And when Jace came in the picture, sure he wasnt happy about it, but how would you feel if the person you loved suddenly fell for someone they've known for a few weeks when they've known you forever? He eventually saw that Jace was who Clary wanted and learned to accept that. If that isnt an amazing person and friend, I dont know waht is. He's one of my favourite characters. And almost the only comic relief.
So, Im happy that someone else agrees. :)
Plus I'm happy that he's a geek and kind of awkward instead of perfect and so sure of himself. He's very....real
